Erik Granskog has over 25 years of energy experience and has originated, acquired, developed, and financed over 4,600MW and $5.3BN of renewable and conventional energy investments worldwide.
He is currently the Founder and CEO of Milele Energy, a pan-African clean energy platform company based in Nairobi, Kenya. Prior to launching Milele in 2019, Erik was the Managing Director for GE Capital in Africa leading the team responsible for commercial origination, risk assessment, and execution of new investment opportunities. He has also led the commercial management team at Atlantic Power where he led the successful pivot to investing in over 700 MW of wind energy projects. At CMS Energy he was a Director of the global finance and development team where he notably led the development and execution of the first IPP in Ghana (Takoradi 2).
He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA from American University (Washington, DC).
