Omolade Shonibare is a member of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), part of BlackRock’s investment team, which currently manages approximately $150 billion in assets across the energy, transport, and digital infrastructure sectors.
She is focused on origination, transaction execution and asset management within the energy sector across Europe and Africa.
Prior to joining BlackRock, Omolade worked in corporate banking where she executed transactions in the consumer and industrial goods sectors across emerging markets.
She is a CFA Charterholder and holds an MSc in Economics and Finance from Durham University, UK, as well as a BSc in Economics from Covenant University, Nigeria.
