Wellington Otieno has over eight years of experience in management, construction, and operations. He joined LTWP as an Assistant Electrical Engineer and has grown to the current role of Chief Technical Officer.
Mr. Otieno’s notable achievements include timely project completion within budget, excellence in developing high-performance teams, and crafting initiatives that significantly improve financial performance through an exhaustive analysis of the impacts of every decision.
By discipline, he is an electrical engineer registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK.), a member of the Institute of Engineers of Kenya (IEK), and KETRB with a background in power systems, automation, and controls. He is also vastly experienced in developing technical studies and investigations, having worked at EZEETEC, INDRA, ASPAC, SIEMENS Energy SAS up to 2016.
He currently holds overall responsibility for ensuring the provision of technological needs, examining the organisation’s short and long-term needs to reach its overarching goal; technical strategy development; stakeholder relations; and provision of leadership and management.
