Emmanuel Aramakidel’s administrative journey at LTWP

In the world of renewable energy, where towering turbines capture the wind’s power, seamless operations are critical.

Meet Emmanuel Aramakidel, a Windfarm Administration Manager at LTWP, the quiet force ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, allowing us to power the nation with clean, sustainable energy. Since joining LTWP in 2017, Emmanuel has played a pivotal role in our operational excellence.

Emmanuel’s journey into administration began at the University of Nairobi. There, his Bachelor of Arts in Education laid the groundwork, fostering an understanding of organisational behaviour, strategic planning, and administrative systems. He furthered his practical knowledge through training in fleet management, HR practices for non-HR managers, community engagement, grievance handling, and budget management. This blend of theory and hands-on experience, as Emmanuel puts it, “reinforced academic learning with real-world exposure.”

He is also a leader whose journey to leadership started long before he ever stepped into an office. He has always had a strong interest in leadership since he was a little boy, always wanting to inspire others and bring people together. This instinct to guide and motivate is what he brings to his role every single day.

With over eight years of experience in operations, logistics, and team coordination, his expertise spans optimising administrative systems, supporting cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

As a Windfarm Administration Manager, his aim is clear: “to bring structure, reliability, and continuous improvement to the workplace.” He ensures processes are not just followed but constantly refined for peak efficiency and maximum impact, fostering a professional environment where administrative support is proactive, reliable, and strategically aligned with LTWP’s long-term vision.

Emmanuel’s impact at LTWP

Emmanuel’s role is multifaceted. He oversees administrative functions such as office management, procurement coordination, facility upkeep, and logistics. He also manages the company’s fleet and transportation – a critical task that involves ensuring vehicles and drivers are well-maintained and optimised for challenging field operations. Accommodation, travel arrangements, and leading the general administrative support staff are also within his purview. Crucially, he ensures all administrative processes adhere to company policies, health and safety standards, and statutory requirements, while also acting as a vital cross-functional coordinator, collaborating with HR, Finance, and Operations teams.

Since joining LTWP in 2017, Emmanuel’s role has evolved significantly in both scope and complexity. “Initially, I came on board to manage core administrative functions,” he explains, “but over time, I have taken on broader responsibilities. As LTWP matured, so did the expectations for administration.”

Over the years, Emmanuel’s responsibilities have expanded into fleet management optimisation, subcontractor and contract oversight, and health and safety compliance, particularly concerning fleet management, office facilities, and logistics. This evolution has deepened his leadership and operational management skills.

One of his proudest achievements is his transformative work in fleet management. “I achieved this through the development of a comprehensive transport management policy,” Emmanuel explains. This policy now governs LTWP’s day-to-day logistics. He notes that this stands out as a moment where strategic planning, teamwork, and resilience converged to make a lasting impact on LTWP operations.

LTWP: A place of growth and purpose

LTWP has actively supported Emmanuel’s growth, providing him with opportunities for professional development through both in-house and external training focusing on procurement processes, leadership, budget, and fleet management.

For Emmanuel, LTWP is a mission-driven company where challenges are embraced as part of the journey, and innovation and collaboration are key to everyday success. Working at Africa’s largest wind farm is an opportunity to contribute to something bigger than himself. He says he isn’t just powering an office; he is helping to power Kenya with clean and sustainable energy and takes great pride in knowing that his work directly supports a project that uplifts local communities — whether through creating jobs, supporting local community projects, or helping to build a greener future for Kenya.

“LTWP is more than just a workplace,” notes Emmanuel. “It’s a great place to work because it combines meaningful impact, professional growth, and a resilient, collaborative culture in one of the most unique working environments in Kenya.”
