LTWP Open Day: Community representatives, County officials and Security personnel visit the wind farm

In line with our commitment to sustained community engagement, LTWP organizes open days at the wind farm to provide an avenue for the local communities to directly engage with LTWP. This is in addition to continuous on the ground engagement facilitated through the Community Liaison Officers and Advisors (CLOs and CAs).

On 28th April 2022, LTWP hosted 88 community members, Loiyangalani DCC, County Police Commandant, Security personnel and other county officials and representatives. Among the key activities in the program included a breakdown of the ongoing and completed community projects as well as a site visit to all turbines along row K and the substation. This also included an open Q&A session with the LTWP leadership where the attendees had their questions and requests responded to.

LTWP provided a meal and transportation to and from the wind farm site.
